Corbin hails from the land of 10,000 lakes and freezing cold winters: Minneapolis, MN. Born and raised there she got involved in the arts at age 5 when she joined a modern dance company. Later she started auditioning for and participating in community theatre productions as well as school productions of plays and musicals all the while taking ballet, jazz, hip hop and vocal training. Dance and theatre eventually segued into print modeling, runway, commercial and voiceover. Through these mediums she became the face or voice of several local, national and international campaigns. Some of the highlights include: Target, Marshall Fields, Kangol, Nicole Miller, Tresemme, Mall of America, Buffalo Wild Wings and Mcdonalds. Her love for the arts turned into a full fledged career decision when she was accepted and attended The University of Michigan receiving a BFA in Musical Theatre in 2009. After college, Corbin has had the divine pleasure of starring in the short film RIBBONS, touring in Equity productions of HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL, and the first national tour of XANADU. Corbin made her Broadway debut in 2010 in AMERICAN IDIOT, and then onto the SISTER ACT in 2011 understudying the lead in both shows. In the summer of 2011 Corbin was cast in the Off-Broadway revival of the Pulitzer Prize winning production of RENT as Joanne Jefferson.
